Designer, architect, and homeowners collaborated on this 1920's traditional tudor home addition; allowing the owners to age in place with a bedroom, bathroom, and laundry on the main floor. An expansive vaulted ceiling in the kitchen showcases the stately wooden beams, accented with painted shiplap. Full overlay slab and shaker door cabinets of natural wood and white pair wonderfully with natural light. Beautiful earth tones from the green island and warm quartzite backsplash are completely grounded with a charcoal herringbone slate floor. The function aspect of this space was fulfilled with stainless steel and maple butcher-block countertops. The entire space can be enjoyed for many years to come!
